MDS Foundation announces the 3rd Annual, Third
World Indie Film Festival (www.thirdworldindiefilmfest.com), happening
this September 20-22, 2012 at the Century @ Pacific Commons, 43917 Pacific
Commons Blvd., Fremont, Ca 94538. Red Carpet event venue will be announce
later. A pioneering collection of films artistically encapsulating the plight
of the disenfranchised. This festival underscores the need for adaptive global
change to deal with our contemporary fiscal crises.
The Third World has much to offer--by way of its countless
struggles, missteps, and victories--to the rest of the world. Our
intention is to bring these experiences to light--and to a broader audience--so
that First World audiences not only are witness to its plight, but may also
come to know the Third World experience as being present in every country.
