The 2nd Annual THIRD WORLD INDIE FILM FESTIVAL (TWIFF) unites filmmakers from around the globe for four full days of film screenings and special events. Championing independent voices and stories often overlooked by mainstream cinema, the Festival aims to be a crossroad for the intellectually curious, including filmmakers, academics, students, programmers, press members, and the public. TWIFF places an emphasis on films that promote awareness of current topics through its Social Entrepreneur and Social Issues Film categories.
All exhibiting filmmakers receive festival passes granting admission to all screenings and events. Networking opportunities are also available, as San Jose’ relative proximity to Los Angeles typically guarantees industry presence.
