Third World Indie Film Festival, an encapsulation of education, entertainment, truthfulness, playfulness and justice, is almost here!

TWIFF’s role in enticing compassionate, dedicated human beings toward becoming better-informed advocates for world empowerment is crucial. This celebration will break not only the commonly held stereotypes of Third World countries, but also shed light on how most First World peoples have suffered relatively more from the recent economic downturn than those in less-developed nations. This singular distinction makes paramount the study of life in Third World socioeconomic systems.

TWIFF, a collection of films depicting Third World hardships and triumphs, gets at what matters to people - not only Third World people - all people. We accomplish this by celebrating the capacity for love and connection all we all share whether rich or poor. Films screened will include those from Uganda, Grenada USA, Philippines, Nepal, India, Thailand, Lebanon, Vietnam, North Korea, Cambodia, Syria, Bolivia, Guyena, Sudan, Nigeria, Guatemala, Finland, Australia, and USA.
